Two collections that continue to explore the language of the surface, interpreting wood through distinct yet complementary approaches, united by a shared design vision.

The visual character of ALPI Microline is soft and welcoming; its colour is spread uniformly and discreetly. At first sight, there is a strong perception of continuity and lightness, without contrast, giving the impression of silent, refined equilibrium. From up close, the pattern reveals itself: a texture of almost invisibly fine lines crosses through the material with rhythmic regularity. The seemingly unvarying surface turns out to be constructed like fabric, where each mark contributes to the whole without ever emerging singularly. Minimal variations in density and tone make for delicate optical vibrancy.

Available in seven chromatic variants, ALPI Microline explores the relationship between colour and design through a measured approach by which each tone is subtly modified in rhythm and depth. Balance between the perceived softness and the design precision is created by marrying material sensibility and formal rigour.

Piero Lissoni’s ongoing research into timber species interprets their aesthetic traits in a contemporary key. ALPI Xilo Acacia originates in a type of wood rooted in the collective memory, having been present in our landscape for centuries. The acacia has now been revisited by means of a thermal treatment that emphasises its chromatic depth and structural texture in an unfamiliar way. The veneer comes in two types of grain as pattern variations that generate a dynamic but consistently balanced composition.

The ALPIlignum Collection is FSC® 100% certified (FSC-C004666), thanks to full control of the supply chain.
